How does SamLab connect to a lab analyzer?

SamLab connects over TCP/HL7, ASTM (serial or TCP) or direct RS-232 serial. The instrument sends finished results, SamLab matches each one to the right sample by barcode and posts it into result entry — with no manual typing. The link is one-way: SamLab does not push the worklist back to the instrument.
