Who registers a Nigerian medical laboratory
Nigeria is unusual in that one federal council registers the laboratory, licenses the scientists working in it, and runs the accreditation scheme — so the same body sees you at every stage.
The Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria is a federal statutory regulatory agency established by Act 11 of 2003, operating as a parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Health.

Does SamLab work when the power or the internet goes?
That is the design, and in Nigeria it is the reason to choose it. SamLab is a desktop application with the laboratory’s database on the laboratory’s own PC. Registration, billing, result entry and report printing do not consult a server, so they keep working through an outage. If you buy a cloud tier, sync catches up when the connection returns; if you do not, nothing ever leaves the machine.
Is SamLab approved or accredited by MLSCN?
No, and no laboratory software is — the Council registers laboratories and licenses practitioners, and its accreditation is granted to the laboratory against ISO 15189. Software cannot hold that on your behalf. What SamLab supplies is the record trail an assessment examines: barcoded specimen traceability, IQC with Levey-Jennings, an audit log, and a result revision history where a verified result locks and an amendment keeps its reason.
Can we pay in naira?
