What a Dutch laboratory is admitted, supervised and accredited against
A Dutch laboratory is a zorgaanbieder under the Wkkgz: it must systematically monitor, control and improve quality, report every calamity to the Inspectie Gezondheidszorg en Jeugd without delay, and run a complaints scheme. A provider of medisch specialistische zorg needs a Wtza permit before providing care. The Raad voor Accreditatie accredits medical laboratories to ISO 15189 on a four-year cycle of surveillance and re-assessment, and accredited laboratories must take part in ring trials. The laboratory bills the order tariff for clinical-chemistry and microbiology tests to the patient or the insurer under NZa rules, claims travel as Vektis messages through VECOZO, and diagnostic analyses with a therapeutic purpose are exempt from VAT.
Under the Wkkgz the care provider must systematically monitor, control and improve the quality of care (article 7), report every calamity to the inspectie without delay (article 11) and operate a complaints scheme (article 13).

Is SamLab geaccrediteerd volgens ISO 15189?
Accreditatie wordt door de Raad voor Accreditatie aan het laboratorium verleend, nooit aan de software. SamLab levert de bewijzen die een beoordeling volgens ISO 15189 vraagt: referentiewaarden met eenheden, wie elk resultaat heeft vrijgegeven, een bewaarde wijzigingshistorie, het ringonderzoekregister en traceerbaarheid van afname tot uitslag.
Kan SamLab declareren via VECOZO?
