The detail
FHIR is the modern REST/JSON successor to HL7 v2 and is increasingly what national programmes and hospital groups ask for. SamLab does not implement it today. It is on the roadmap, and this page exists so you can find the honest answer rather than a maybe — a vendor who says yes to FHIR without asking which resources and which profile has not understood the question.

Can SamLab exchange FHIR resources today?+
No. FHIR is on the roadmap and is not implemented. Anyone telling you otherwise about this product is mistaken. What works today is HL7 v2 message reconciliation on the Enterprise plan, and direct ASTM links to the analyzers themselves.
When will it ship?+
We do not publish dates we cannot hold. The roadmap page shows current status and moves as work lands. If FHIR is a hard requirement for a tender or a partner, tell us which resource types and which implementation guide — that, not the word "FHIR", is what determines whether we can meet it.
What should I use in the meantime?+
HL7 v2 over the Enterprise plan covers most real exchange requirements between a laboratory and a hospital information system or a referral lab. For instruments, ASTM is what the bench actually speaks and needs no FHIR at all.
